When you drive down the I-5 towards Mexico in Southern California you are bound to come across this sign. See it here. The sign actually appears twice at the PAL between Oceanside and San Clemente and right before the international border crossing. Not that is an inspired image but in 2007 what does it really say? At border check points beware of illegal aliens running across the freeway with their children in tow. Is this racist? Is it a stab at Mexicans and should they be offended? Or is this just a relic from the past when political correctness didn't create the double standard in free speech?
